My Mission
My mission is to make golf accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for every golfer — regardless of age, background, or skill level. Through personalized instruction and a supportive environment rooted in real playing experience, I meet every student where they are and help them grow into the golfer they're capable of becoming.
I have a special passion for working with women and juniors, because I believe that getting more kids and women on the course makes the game better for everyone. Golf has the power to build confidence, create community, and open doors — and I'm here to help you experience all of it.

About Me
Hi, I'm Makalia Brown — an LPGA Golf Professional with over 20 years in the game and more than 5 years of teaching experience. I'm based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, where I run Makalia Brown Golf Instruction, LLC, offering private lessons and women's golf clinics at Golf Ranch locations in Richardson and Grand Prairie.
My love for golf started simply — as a fun way to learn a new sport and spend time with my dad. What began as quality time on the course grew into a lifelong passion that took me all the way to Jackson State University, where I competed as a Division I collegiate golfer, earned All-SWAC honors, and served as team captain. That journey shaped not only my game, but the way I approach teaching — with encouragement, patience, and a genuine belief that every golfer has more potential than they realize.
I'm especially passionate about helping women discover and fall in love with golf. Whether you've never touched a club or you're looking to take your game to the next level, my coaching style meets you exactly where you are. We'll work on the fundamentals, build real confidence, and develop skills you can actually use on the course — from swing mechanics and ball striking to course management and playing under pressure.
Golf started as something special between me and my dad. I'd love to help it become something special for you too.
